Teenager Parrott has signed a contract with Spurs.

Tottenham Hotspur are yet to add to their senior squad this summer but have agreed a deal for young striker Troy Parrott, who has reportedly signed a scholarship contract with the north Londoners.
Just 16 years of age, Parrott has put pen to paper with Mauricio Pochettino’s side according to Irish outlet RTE, and is expected to join up with the north Londoners’ Under-18 side.
Parrott has now signed scholarship contract at the club after turning 16. It is just reward for the striker’s excellent work at Spurs’ youth academy.
Spurs fans may not be particularly familiar with the Irish striker, so here are five facts about Parrott:
1: Parrott agreed a deal with Spurs last summer before officially joining up with the Premier League giants in June of this year.
2: The highly-rated striker was developed in Irish minnows Belvedere FC’s academy before moving to England with Spurs, where he attracted interest from Celtic, Liverpool and Chelsea according to RTE.
3: As an Irishman, Parrott’s idols are former Norwich City star Wes Hoolahan who has 43 Irish caps to his name, as well as Tottenham Hotspur goal machine and England captain Harry Kane.
4: Parrott is already a fully-fledged Ireland youth international, starring for the Under-17 side at this summer’s Under-17 European Championships in England. He scored three goals as Ireland reached the knockout stage before losing to the Dutch controversially on penalties.
