Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dylan Duncan has been called up to train with England’s senior squad, ahead of their friendly against Spain on Tuesday evening.
Here are five facts about the up-and-coming Tottenham midfielder, who has caught the eye of Gareth Southgate.

- Duncan is still only 17-years-old, but he has impressed at under-19 level for Tottenham this season, despite playing above his age-group.
- Duncan plays in central midfield. He is regarded as a well rounded player by Spurs coaches, and he has the energy to excel in both attacking and defensive situations.
- Duncan made his debut for Tottenham’s under-21 squad at the age of 16, with Spurs youth coaches having high hopes for the prospect’s future.
- Duncan was only signed by Spurs two years ago, after the North London side spotted his talents while he was playing for Southend United’s youth team.
- Duncan made 21 appearances for Tottenham’s under-18 side last season, and managed to score on two occasions.
Duncan joins an exciting group of youngsters currently breaking through at Tottenham, with the likes of Josh Onomah, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Marcus Edwards also predicted to become first-team regulars at White Hart Lane.
