Tottenham Hotspur are said to be keeping a very close eye on the young midfielder.

According to a recent report from Il Mattino, Tottenham Hotspur have been scouting Viitorul midfielder Razvan Marin, watching him as recently as Friday in a clash with CFR Cluj.
Tottenham have developed an impressive habit of signing some of the best young talent in Europe and along with the exciting teenagers coming through their impressive academy they have a next generation tipped for superstardom.

Here we take a look at everything you need to know about Tottenham’s latest alleged target:
1) Born in Bucharest in 1996, Marin began his youth career at Viitorul Constanta before making his first-team debut in 2013.
2) A central midfielder who can also operate as an attacking midfielder if required, the alleged Tottenham target has featured 73 times for his senior side to date.
3) Marin has scored six goals and provided eight assists in that time, his latest strike coming in a 1-0 victory against Astra Giurgiu earlier this month.

4) Such has been the 20-year-old’s progress that he won his first two caps for Romania in the last international break, scoring in a comfortable victory against Armenia.
5) While clearly talented he has to work on the disciplinary side of his game, having collected four yellow cards already this season and 17 since he started his senior career. That said he has only overstepped the boundary to get sent off once so far.
