Tottenham Hotspur are said to be in talks regarding a potential move for the Brazilian full-back.

According to a report from Tutto Mercato Web, Tottenham Hotspur officials are meeting with the representatives of Corinthians defender Guilherme Arana this week to discuss a potential move to White Hart Lane.

German club Schalke are also said to be interested but if Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy plays his cards right he could pull off another coup.

Following the news here are five facts about the latest player to be linked with Spurs:

1) Arana was born in Sao Paulo in 1997 and began his youth career at Corinthians in 2005. He has spent the last decade featuring at different levels for the Brazilian club.

2) A left-back by trade, Arana made his debut for the senior Corinthians side in 2015, having previously been an unused substitute on 12 occasions. His first competitive action came in a 4-3 victory against Sport.

3) The reported Tottenham target has gone on to make 14 appearances for his current club, scoring two goals in the process.

4) After making his debut for Corinthians he was loaned out to Atletico Paranaense in May 2015 but after only three appearances he was recalled by his parent club.
