The Grimsby Town striker is being linked with a move to the Championship, with both Nottingham Forest and Wigan Athletic.

Championship sides Nottingham Forest and Wigan Athletic are being linked with moves for Grimsby Town striker Omar Bogle, according to the Grimsby Telegraph.
But what do we know about the Mariners sensation? Here are five quick facts…
5) He is 6’3″ tall, 12st 8lbs in weight and 23 years of age (according to Grimsby’s official website). He prefers to kick with the left of his two feet.

4) This is Bogle’s first season in the Football League and he’s taken to it like a duck to Cleethorpes boating lake, scoring nine goals in his first 10 outings.
3) He only managed 13 goals throughout the whole of last season’s National League, although he found the net three times in as many play-off matches – including two in the final against Forest Green Rovers.

2) Prior to his move to Lincolnshire, Birmingham-born Bogle played for Solihull Moors – where he was named the National League North’s player of the season in 2015 – and Hinckley United, but was previously on the books of Birmingham City, West Bromwich Albion and Celtic.
1) True story: Grimsby fans sing his name to the tune of Blur’s ‘Tender’. Altogether now… ‘Omar Bo-gle, Omar Bo-gle, Oh-mar, Oh-mar…’
