West Bromwich Albion have signed Yassine El Ghanassy on a season long loan.
Who is he and what can we tell you about him?
1) El Ghanassy is a 22-year-old winger who has two international caps for Belgium.
2) He plays on the left and scored seven goals in 37 games for Gent last season, leading them to third in the Belgian top flight.
3) Aged just 16 he had a trial with Birmingham City, but the Blues were unable to agree a fee with his club La Louviere, and Manchester City attempted to sign him during January 2011 but had a bid rejected.
4) His dad Hajjaj El Ghanassy was also a professional footballer.
5) He has played in both the Champions League and the Europa League with Gent, and won both the league and cup double in 2010 with the club.
