Everton have completed the transfer of Rangers forward Steven Naismith.
What can we tell you about him?
1) Naismith is a striker who scored nine goals in 11 starts for Rangers this season, before it was ended by a knee injury in October.
2) The season beforehand, his efforts saw him handed two Rangers player of the season awards, voted by both players and the fans. He won the Scottish Football Writers Award in 2006.
3) Naismith signed for Rangers in 2007 from Kilmarnock. One year earlier he had a trial at Arsenal.
4) He caused controversy in 2011 when he said he would welcome a call from the Great Britain Olympic team, leading to outcry among Scots – even warning him his Scotland career could be over.
5) He is a full Scottish international, and scored his first goal for his country against no less than Spain in a 3-2 defeat.
