1) 21-year-old midfielder Rexhbecaj was born in Kosovo and currently stars for Bundesliga side Wolfsburg.
2) This is Rexhbecaj’s biggest season at Wolfsburg so far. He has made 22 appearances, after making just four last season. He scored his first professional goal in a win over Schalke.
3) Rexhbecaj told German outlet Sportbuzzer that he rejected an offer to leave Wolfsburg last summer.
4) He was praised by Wolfsburg coach Eric Schmidt. He told Sportworld: “He is an incredibly powerful, aggressive and strong player. He is quite complete and can play several positions.”
5) Rexhbecaj told Sportbuzzer that his idols are Andres Iniesta, Luka Modric and Toni Kroos.
