Celtic are interested in signing Argentine defender Leandro Grimi, report the Scottish Sun.
Grimi would compete with Kieran Tierney for the left-back spot should he sign, but what do Celtic fans need to know about him?

Here are five facts about the potential signing…
1) Grimi plays for Argentine side Racing Club and has done since 2014. He is currently under contract until 2019.
2) The 31-year-old has played for four European clubs through his career, with AC Milan, Siena, Sporting Lisbon and Genk.
3) He has scored goals in the past in the Europa League and South America’s top competition the Copa Libertadores.
4) Grimi played against Rangers in 2008 in the Europa League quarter final for Sporting Lisbon, and kept a clean sheet in a 0-0 draw.
5) Upon arrival at AC Milan, Grimi pledged to become the ‘new Maldini’, Gazzetta dello Sport reported, admitting the Italian legend was his role model.
