After their recent highly-publicised Old Firm encounter, Celtic and Rangers could reportedly now battle it out in the transfer market for Uche Ikpeazu.

It is a case of when not if Celtic will win the Scottish Premiership title after they opened up a 13 point lead on Rangers over the weekend.
There is no doubt that both clubs will be looking to next season now and ensuring they are ready to either win nine-in-a-row or end their rivals near decade of dominance.
The Sun recently claimed that Hearts forward Uche Ikpeazu has caught the eye of Scotland’s two biggest clubs, with Cardiff City and Hull City also interested in his services.
Depending on your knowledge of Scottish football and whether you are a regular follower of the lower echelons of English football, Ikpeazu could be an unknown figure to most.
Here, we take a look at five facts about the highly-rated powerhouse that is now seemingly attracting the interest of clubs north and south of the border ahead of the transfer window re-opening:
1. The 24-year-old forward was born in London and started his professional career by coming through the ranks at Reading. He failed to make a senior appearance at the Madjeski Stadium, but he did represent the U-23’s on eight occasions.

2. After leaving Reading in 2013, he joined Watford where he once against struggled to force his way into the first team and subsequently spent a number of seasons out on loan.
3. After years of struggling to earn regular game time, Ikpeazu finally found a home with League Two side Cambridge United where he played 69 games, scoring 19 goals and supplying his teammates with 19 assists.
4. His highest goalscoring season came during the 2017/18 campaign when he netted 13 goals in the fourth tier of English football.
5. In 2018, he moved to Tynecastle to join Hearts where he has played 19 games in all competitions, scoring five goals and providing his teammates with four assists.
