Sheffield Wednesday welcome Bolton Wanderers to Hillsborough on Tuesday.

Having recorded five defeats and a draw from their last six Championship fixtures, Sheffield Wednesday’s next one, at home to Bolton Wanderers on Tuesday, is now must-win for the Owls.
Jos Luhukay’s side slipped to 18th in the standings after Saturday’s 2-1 reverse against Derby County, and are now just three points and four places above their upcoming opponents from Lancashire.
Sheffield Wednesday, arguably, performed better against Derby than in most of their games this season, but were undone yet again by individual errors.
Their manager is, however, a prolific tinkerer – having stuck with the same eleven he used in the previous fixture just once in his near-11-month spell in charge of the Owls – and has already hinted that changes are afoot with Bolton the second of three opponents to face his side in the space of eight days.
Defenders Jordan Thorniley and Matt Penney are almost certain to return, along with striker Steven Fletcher, although whether Luhukay reverts to a 5-2-2-1 system from Saturday’s 4-2-3-1 remains to be seen.

The former option would likely see one of Marco Matias or Fernando Forestieri – who played his first 90 minutes in more than seven weeks against Derby – dropped to the bench.
Liam Palmer, Daniel Pudil, Josh Onomah and Atdhe Nuhiu could all make comebacks at Hillsborough.
