The Lilywhites looked certain to lose 2-1 away to Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.
However, Steven Bergwijn came off the bench to score a stunning double in the final two minutes of stoppage time to give Tottenham an amazing win by a 3-2 scoreline.
As far as drama goes, few Premier League outings will come close to this one.
It bore a resemblance to the North Londoners’ Champions League victory away to Ajax back in 2019, helping the club – then under Mauricio Pochettino – into the final of the competition.

And it was another Pochettino signing last night who Tottenham supporters were talking about last night.
Sanchez, a £42 million signing by the Argentine manager during the summer of 2017, was among the most passionate visiting players to celebrate in front of the travelling supporters after the victory.
Moments like this are relatively rare for the Colombia international who, under Antonio Conte, has seriously taken his standard of performances to the very next level.
However, scenes after the Leicester victory were evidence that he’s extremely invested in what the Italian manager is trying to do in North London, having replaced Nuno Espirito Santo back in November.
