Swansea City supporters are now believing they can earn promotion to the Premier League after they secured the loan signing of Conor Hourihane from Aston Villa.
On Wednesday, Swansea confirmed on their official Twitter account that they have secured the talents of Villa’s left-footed talent.
It’s a gem of a signing for the Championship side because they have signed a player who has experience of playing in all four divisions, and only two seasons ago, he helped Villa return to the promised land.
That’s where the Swansea supporters want to go and they think Villa’s free-kick specialist can take them there.
The Welsh side are sitting second in the table and if Hourihane can get his engine going pretty quickly that they will remain in those automatic places, no doubt.
Swansea fans cannot believe they have managed to secure the Irishman’s services given his qualities.
Hourihane has been very unfortunate not to earn more game time at Villa this season, but their strong start to the campaign and the loan signing of Ross Barkley pushed him down the pecking order.
