Some Liverpool fans on social media have been full of praise for Jarell Quansah after the Reds’ defeat in the FA Youth Cup Final.
Liverpool’s youth side weren’t able to get the better of Villa on the day, but they made a good account of themselves, and one man who stood out was Quansah.
The 18-year-old didn’t enjoy the best of evenings on the pitch, conceding twice as the Reds fell to a defeat, but he showed a level of drive and determination that will make him a star one day.
Fans were particularly impressed by Quansah’s actions after the game as he lifted up his teammates off the ground as they understandably felt desolate after such a defeat.
Yes, Liverpool may not be Youth Cup winners this year, but getting to the final is an achievement in itself, and these young players should be incredibly proud of what they’ve done.
