Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has raved about Luis Diaz on BBC Sport after the match against Leicester City at Anfield.
Diaz, who joined Liverpool from FC Porto in the January transfer window, made his Premier League debut against the Foxes on Thursday evening.
The 25-year-old winger made his debut for the Reds against Cardiff City at Anfield in the FA Cup last weekend.
Diaz played well against Leicester and impressed former Liverpool striker Michael Owen among others.
And after the game, Liverpool boss Klopp said that the winger impressed him in the very first training session.
Jurgen Klopp on Liverpool winger Luis Diaz
Klopp told BBC Sport: “That is exactly how it looked in the training session. He watched us and we showed him a lot of situations.
“It looks natural. It is really quick I must say. Really, really good performance. He had some outstanding moments.”
The Liverpool boss added: “From the first session it was as though he’d been studying us. He is a wonderful talent and has nice speed too.”

Encouraging
In our view, Klopp’s big claim about Diaz in Liverpool training is very encouraging for the Anfield faithful.
The Colombian impressing in his very first training session and showing that he has been following Liverpool bodes well for the future.
It shows that Diaz is very serious about succeeding at Liverpool.
Now, it seems that Klopp is very impressed by Diaz and thinks that he is a brilliant footballer.
And, let us not forget, Diaz is only 25.
So, in our opinion, the winger is only going to get better and improve further in the coming years.
