Some Liverpool fans on social media have been reacting after it was reported that Villarreal are set to sign Arnaut Danjuma.
Danjuma had been strongly linked with a move to Liverpool this summer, and it seems as though Reds supporters wanted this one to get over the line.
Sadly, the Bournemouth ace seems to be on his way to La Liga, and as you can imagine, Reds supporters aren’t best pleased with this news.
Danjuma looks to be a real talent, he lit up the Championship last term, and given the Reds’ ability to pick up players from relegated teams in recent years, this signing would have fit the profile of what they usually go for.
The Reds could do with a new attacker through the door this window, and while they may get one, it won’t be Danjuma.
