Don Hutchison says Arsenal and Tottenham transfer target Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has been the ‘find of the century’ for Serie A leaders, Napoli.

During the 2022 summer transfer window, Napoli, who had a number of key players leaving, signed the talented winger on a five-year contract, with Fabrizio Romano claiming at the time that Tottenham were also keen on the player.

Since then, the 21-year-old has taken his game to serious heights, where he is now one of the best forwards in Europe, as Arsenal and Manchester City have joined the race for his signature.

One thing is for sure, Kvaratskhelia won’t be going anywhere anytime soon because he is looking to create history in Naples.

After seven goals and nine assists from 15 Serie A games, Napoli are on course to win their first Serie A title in over three decades.

Arsenal have also had to wait a long while to become champions – just under two decades – so both north London and Naples could see long-suffering pain ended.

Nonetheless, when former Liverpool midfielder Hutchison was asked who would win between Napoli and Arsenal in a one-off game at a neutral venue, he issued the following response, as he told ESPN.

“Kvaratskhelia has been the find of the century because he is just outrageous,” said Hutchison. “Victor Osimhen, you build your side around him. He is a one-man wrecking machine.

“I would have Napoli to go 2-0 up inside the first 20 minutes. Arsenal to show a reaction, come back to 2-1, then 3-1 Napoli, 3-2 and then it would finish 4-3 to Napoli.”

NAPOLI AND ARSENAL – TWO OF EUROPE’S BEST

The football the duo are playing this season has been incredible and, at this moment in time, they are deserving of becoming champions in their respective countries.

It’s a shame that they can’t lock horns with one ahnother this season, but it’s something to look forward ahead of the next campaign.

Both have young squads and this is just the start of a long journey, and hopefully with the luck of the draw, they are pitted against one another in the Champions League.
