It wasn’t a great night for Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday, but it was for one of their loan players.
When Spurs were losing 2-1 away to Premier League title rivals Liverpool, Oliver Skipp was helping Norwich City to a big win away to Reading.
The win brought City back to the top of the Championship – and the Tottenham youngster played a big role yet again.
Skipp has started all 19 of Norwich’s league games this season and you can see why.
The 20-year-old played the full 90 minutes and clocked a pass success rate of 90 percent, in addition to making four tackles.
But some stats don’t illustrate the full picture and the truth is that Skipp is just such a composed, intelligent footballer for his age.
