Some Liverpool fans on social media are buzzing after Jurgen Klopp confirmed that both Jordan Henderson and Joel Matip trained fully with the first-team on Tuesday.
Henderson and Matip have been out injured as of late, but it seems as though they could be back in the team for the Tottenham game.
The timing of this really couldn’t have been better, Liverpool need to be able to field their strongest possible XI against Spurs in what is likely to be another tough test.
“No new cases [injuries] and Hendo and Joel trained yesterday with the team fully,” Klopp said.
“Like always we these things we have to see how they react overnight and what they can do today, but they trained yesterday.”
As you can imagine, fans were overjoyed with the news that their skipper and the Cameroon international were in contention to play against Spurs.
The Anfield faithful will certainly have their fingers crossed hoping they can make the impact to swing the game in Liverpool’ favour.
