Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to react after the club announced the £1.5 million signing of Amari Miller from Birmingham.

What’s the story?

Well, Marcelo Bielsa’s side have secured the 18-year-old’s signature, tying him down to a four-year contract.

Miller will initially link up with Mark Jackson’s Under-23 side, although he is no stranger to first-team action despite his young age.

The teenager ended the 2020/21 campaign with five Championship starts under his belt, after impressing Lee Bowyer.

In fact, Miller became a regular in Birmingham’s starting XI, earning back-to-back starts just before the season came to an end.

The Englishman is an exciting winger, who has clearly done something to attract Victor Orta’s attention.

One thing that Leeds can be admired for right now is their dedication to signing young gems.

Of course, it’s tempting to focus solely on strengthening the first-team, and let those already in the youth ranks develop at their own pace.

However, by scouring the globe for the next big thing, Leeds are safeguarding their own future.

The likes of Joe Gelhardt, Sam Greenwood and Crysencio Summerville have been excellent additions, who seem close to first-team football.

Leeds are also improving the quality of those already in the youth set-up, as playing with better players will raise their level too.

Let’s see what the Leeds fans on Twitter have been saying about Miller’s arrival…
