Quoted by the Liverpool Echo, Atletico Madrid defender Filipe Luis has told Philippe Coutinho he would be welcomed at the Spanish club.
The Liverpool star was in fine form this week as he bagged a hattrick from the Brazilian side in their 7-1 victory over Haiti.
He is deputising in place of Neymar at the Copa America this summer, scoring his first international hattrick in the comprehensive win.

His display is likely to have caught the attention of the big European clubs, with PSG and Barcelona already having been linked with a move for him this summer.
And Filipe Luis has now said that Coutinho would be welcomed at Atletico, admitting he has discussed a move to a top Champions League club with the 23-year-old.
“Coutinho asked me how it feels to play in a Champions League final,” the Liverpool Echo reports him saying.
“He’d be welcomed at Atletico, he has the quality. Coutinho is amazing and can make the difference. We discussed that he can play for top Champions League sides.”

It will certainly be interesting to see if there is genuine interest from the big European sides in Coutinho this summer.
He has long been the star of the show at Liverpool, but has shown vast improvement under the leadership of Jurgen Klopp sicne his arrival in October.
At 23-years-old he is only likely to get better, and this transfer window could be the one in which the big sides may make their move.
