Rangers star Filip Helander thanks supporters

Filip Helander made his long awaited competitive debut for Rangers at the weekend.
The Swedish centre-back starred as Rangers beat lower league East Fife 3-0.
He could not have asked for a more perfect debut, keeping a clean sheet and even scoring Rangers’ second goal.
Helander made a point on social media of thanking Rangers fans for their support, in a message sent yesterday afternoon.
Helander has had to wait or his chance thanks to the good form of Connor Goldson and Nikola Katic.
It was important for Helander to get some game time, to ensure he is ready if urgently needed in case of injury.
Rangers paid £3.5 million for Helander, so they have a vested interest in making sure he is a big success.
