Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers eeked out an ugly win on Sunday.

Filip Helander has admitted that Rangers rode their luck on Sunday – especially after their ‘terrible’ first-half display.
Steven Gerrard’s side came from a goal down to beat Motherwell 2-1 at Ibrox yesterday afternoon.
Jermain Defoe cancelled out Devante Cole’s first-half opener, before Helander, a £4 million signing by Rangers this past summer [The Scotsman], headed home an 80th-minute winner.
It was a sluggish first-half performance from the Gers and one that included a missed penalty from James Tavernier.
And overall, Helander admits the Ibrox side might’ve got away with one yesterday.
He told The Scottish Sun: “I am very happy because we didn’t play a great game and the first half for us was terrible. The second half was a bit better and I think we are all glad to get away with the three points.
“We didn’t click, we didn’t win enough duels and we made it difficult for ourselves.”
Ibrox has been a fortress for Rangers for most of this season, but yesterday was a reminder that not every home game will be a four or five-goal demolition.
That being said, victories like this also teach Gerrard’s troops how to win ugly, something they won’t need to do most weeks, but every now and again they will find themselves in positions like the one they found themselves in yesterday and to pick up the three points, without playing well, is a vital skill in title races.
The light Blues are behind Celtic at the summit on goal difference.
