Filip Benkovic impressed at Celtic last season.

Celtic fans would love to see Filip Benkovic return to Glasgow this summer, but it looks like it might be a pipe dream.
There is little to no speculation about Celtic re-signing the Leicester City centre-back, who impressed at Parkhead last term.
And Benkovic’s latest comments might indicate that he himself does not envisage a second spell.
The 21-year-old, who cost the Foxes £13 million last summer [Sky Sports], said that he was ‘very satisfied’ with how his year-long stint with the Hoops went, having helped the club to a historic treble Treble.
“Overall I’m very satisfied and I appreciate Celtic giving me a chance to play – and in Europe as well,” he told Press Association.
“I was lucky as I played in Dinamo where it was high pressure as well, you need to be first every year. That was OK for me, I was calm in the head having so much pressure at Celtic but I enjoyed every game.”
Benkovic is spoken like a player who is considering his Celtic chapter as a closed one.
Leicester boss Rodgers has previously suggested that he may be interested in loaning the Croatian colossus back to the Scottish Premiership champions, but for now it remains to be seen what the short-term plan is.
Benkovic can impress Rodgers in pre-season and if he does then the Northern Irishman may prefer that he stays at the King Power.
