Team of the Year is about to begin on FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, but just when does voting start and who are this year’s nominees?

It’s that time of year again as EA Sports bring their Team of the Year promo to FIFA 23.

The best players from 2022 will now be recognised with boosted cards that will change the course of the game for months to come.

EA released the nominees on Monday as voting will soon get underway, but just when can fans cast their votes?

When does Team of the Year voting start?

FIFA 23 players know that today is the big day and that they can vote for their top players of 2022.

Voting will open on today, Tuesday January 10th, with 4pm the start time for fans to start sending in their votes.

EA haven’t announced when the voting will end.

However, last year voting ran from the 10th of January to the 18th of January, so we will be expecting the same again this year.

That’s just over a week to get your votes in but don’t waste any time – get them in now!

Who are the FIFA 23 Team of the Year Nominees?

FIFA 23’s Team of the Year promo will go down in history as it’s the first to not feature Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Portuguese attacker endured a tricky 2022, torpedoing his Manchester United career before being dropped by Portugal at the World Cup.

There are some notable absentees alongside Ronaldo.

Real Madrid duo Antonio Rudiger and David Alaba are both omitted whilst Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold isn’t included either.
