The voting is open for the FIFA 23 Premier League Team of the Season – but Arsenal stars Ben White and Granit Xhaka aren’t included.
This is an exciting time of the year for any FIFA 23 player.
Team of the Season cards will be entering Ultimate Team very soon and the voting is starting to be opened for different leagues.
After voting opened for the Community Team of the Season last week, the Premier League took centre stage today.
You can be sure that Erling Haaland will receive plenty of votes and Arsenal fans were probably very excited.
The Gunners are chasing a Premier League title and could have a number of players in the Team of the Season.
Gabriel Jesus isn’t involved having been in the Community Team of the Season vote last week but other Arsenal stars have been surprise omissions.
Kai Havertz a surprise nominee for FIFA 23 Premier League Team of the Season
Unsurprisingly, a host of top Arsenal stars are able to be picked.
Aaron Ramsdale, Gabriel Magalhaes, Ben White, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli can all be selected.
However, three key players – Ben White, Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey – are nowhere to be seen.
Arsenal fans will surely be baffled; all three have been vital to Mikel Arteta’s push for the Premier League title.
Those supporters may be even more confused when they see some of the names included in the voting.
Tottenham Hotspur trio Cristian Romero, Rodrigo Bentancur and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg have all been nominated despite a mixed season for Spurs.
Chelsea forward Kai Havertz can even be voted for, despite managing just seven goals in 29 Premier League games this season.
There are some strange shouts in the voting and Arsenal fans may feel a little aggrieved tonight.
