Newcastle United have been linked with Nicolai Jorgensen of Feyenoord in the January transfer window.

It has been reported that Feyenoord want an answer from Newcastle regarding the striker sooner rather than later.
It has also been claimed that the Magpies are set to be handed a deadline of Monday night to come up with a new offer.

Newcastle’s initial bid of £15 million for the Denmark international has been turned down, with Feyenoord looking for £20m, according to The Chronicle.
One can understand Feyenoord’s (reported) stance, and it would make sense for Newcastle to wrap up the deal before January transfer deal as well.
After all, there is no point in the two clubs haggling over a transfer fee in the final hours of the window.

The 27-year-old striker has scored seven goals and provided three assists in 13 Eredivisie starts for Feyenoord so far this season, according to WhoScored.
Newcastle are struggling in the Premier League at the moment and could get relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
