Fernando Torres is set to be reunited with Liverpool in the final of the pre-season Audi Cup tournament.
Liverpool and Atletico Madrid both won their semi-final games and will face off in Wednesday’s decider.
Torres is excited about meeting his former club, and sent a message out on Twitter expressing as much.
Liverpool’s social media team promptly responded to Torres’ message.
Torres, 33, played for Liverpool between 2007 and 2011, scoring more than 80 goals.
He quit the club in controversial manner to move to Chelsea for £50 million, a move which backfired as he failed to hit form.
