Fernando Llorente has struggled to play regularly for Tottenham Hotspur.

Llorente is playing at the moment due to injury to fellow striker Harry Kane and also scored against Watford in the Premier League earlier this week.
The Spanish striker had admitted that he did think about leaving Tottenham earlier in the January transfer window.
When asked whether there was a point earlier in January when he thought he might be leaving the club, Llorente told ESPN: “I couldn’t imagine, no? It’s a long season and things can happen like injuries.
“Now I’m very happy because it was an important chance for me. I know I have to do my best and I’m very happy to help the team with this important goal.”

Important player
It is hard to see Llorente stay at Tottenham beyond the summer of 2019, but for now, the former Swansea City striker will be an important player for the North London outfit.
True, Son Heung-min is back from international duty with South Korea at the Asian Cup, but Llorente’s aerial ability and natural instincts as a striker will be important for manager Mauricio Pochettino’s side in the coming months.
Llorente has made two starts and six substitute appearances in the Premier League for Spurs so far this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist in the process, according to WhoScored.
