Rio Ferdinand told his official YouTube channel that Mohamed Salah doesn’t get the ‘mad attention’ nor is he ‘valued where he should be valued’ despite hitting crazy numbers for Liverpool.
Since the Egyptian made his £34 million switch to Liverpool in 2017 [BBC Sport], Ferdinand listed how he has been involved in the most goal involvements (111) than the likes of Sergio Aguero, Harry Kane, Jamie Vardy and Raheem Sterling.
The left-footed speedster, who arrived at Anfield as that player that struggled to make his mark at Stamford Bridge, is now arguably one of Liverpool’s greatest ever forward players.
Ferdinand paid homage to Salah and how he seemingly doesn’t get the recognition that he deserves.
“But Mohamed Salah,” said Ferdinand. “Can we talk about this man’s consistency? I don’t think he’s valued where he should be valued.
“If we talk about goal involvements. So, this is racking up goals and assists since Mohamed Salah signed for Liverpool. Aguero (75). Vardy (82). Sterling (81). Harry Kane (91). Out on his own, Salah with 111.
“Let that marinate. Let that sink in. I don’t think he gets the mad support and love and the attention he actually deserves. Given them numbers there. He is smashing it.
“These numbers he is putting up, I don’t know if they have been seen before? Or have they? You tell me, man. Liverpool the juggernaut is moving.”

Well, Salah is at it again this season and this time he doesn’t even need the full 90 minutes to rip opposition teams apart.
Over the weekend, Salah came on as a substitute during Liverpool’s 7-0 thumping of Crystal Palace and he netted a brace and provided an assist in next to no time.
It means that he has scored 13 goals and supplied three assists this season and there doesn’t seem to be anything stopping him right now.
