West Ham United playmaker Felipe Anderson has told The Express that he has spoken to Neymar about his move to the London Stadium this summer.
The Hammers have started awfully in the Premier League, losing 4-0 at Liverpool and then 2-1 at home to Bournemouth having led 1-0 against the Cherries.
Manuel Pellegrini needs to turn things around quickly, and he will be hoping to see big-money summer signing Felipe Anderson step up to the plate soon.
West Ham spent a club-record fee signing Anderson from Lazio this summer, and the Brazilian playmaker was expected to make an instant impact in a claret and blue shirt.
However, Anderson has struggled in his first two games, making little impact having been shoved out wide rather than played as a number 10.
Fans are hoping to see him thrive soon, and Anderson has been discussing his move to East London, having spoken to Neymar about a move to the London Stadium.
Anderson played alongside Neymar with Santos in their native Brazil, and the West Ham ace has told The Express that he has spoken to the Paris Saint-Germain star – the world’s most expensive player – about his move, and revealed that Neymar has wished him well and believes he has the quality to make a difference.
“I have spoken with Neymar about West Ham,” said Anderson. “He is always wishing me good things so that one day I can show everything he hopes for and that he knows I’m capable of doing. He always spoke about aiming for the top. He always said I have qualities which could make the difference. He is always saying nice things,” he added.
