Gary Lineker took to Twitter during Liverpool’s emphatic 7-0 win over Crystal Palace today to make a bold claim.
The BBC Match of the Day host predicted that Jurgen Klopp’s side will now run away with the Premier League title once again.
That might not seem like an especially bold claim from the ex-Barcelona striker.
However, in our view, it can most certainly be considered one at this stage of the season, where Tottenham are still in touching distance of the Reds.
You can see what Lineker tweeted on Saturday afternoon below.
In truth, if you watched Liverpool’s display at Selhurst Park today, you would be foolish to bet your money on anyone else winning the Premier League.

Klopp’s champions looked like they were going to score with every single attack.
Their win over Tottenham on Wednesday looks like it has kickstarted their campaign properly, even though it wasn’t going too badly before that clash – injury problems aside.
Now, the Reds look like they’re back to being the swashbuckling, ruthless outfit they were last season, where nobody in England looked anywhere near as good as they did.

Sadly for Crystal Palace, they were the ones to feel the full force of Liverpool’s brilliance today.
However, we doubt the Eagles will be the last team to suffer such difficulty against the Reds this season.
