Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to reveal that they think Ian Poveda is lying about his latest injury update.

The 20-year-old was hurt in the recent Under-23 clash against Sunderland, which Leeds won 2-0 thanks to goals from Niall Huggins and Tyler Roberts.

Today, the man who Marcelo Bielsa signed from Manchester City posted an update on Instagram in regards to his injury.

In the post, we can see crutches by Poveda’s side, resting against a moon boot – the London-born forward captioned the post ‘all good no worries’.

However, some Leeds fans do not believe that it’s ‘all good’ after seeing the photo.

Some supporters feel that the mere presence of crutches and a moon boot suggest otherwise, and support the belief that Poveda’s injury is more severe than he’s making it out to be.

Of course, the Leeds No.7 knows his body better than anyone, and will surely be aware of how serious his injury is.

Having said that, the Leeds fans below have a point – the photo certainly doesn’t suggest that all is well.

Only time will tell if the England Under-20 international is being genuine about his injury or not.

For now, we wouldn’t want to speculate about anything.

Let’s see what they’ve been saying about Poveda’s Instagram update…
