Wolves fans have reacted on Twitter to Tottenham appointing Nuno Espirito Santo as their new manager.
Back in November, when Wolves were sitting in the European places, not many would have predicted him to be in Tottenham colours in less than a year.
But an unfortunate head injury to Raul Jimenez resulted in Wolves’ season capitulating to the point that they ended the campaign in the bottom half of the Premier League table.
Nuno left Wolves at the end of the season and not many would have expected him to be taking the reigns of Tottenham.
A number of Wolves fans have reacted to how weird it feels seeing Nuno in different colours, but all of that will be out of the window when they lock horns next season.
There’s no doubt that Nuno is a legend in Wolves’ eyes because of how he lifted them from being a mid-table Championship club to now being established in England’s top-flight.
Those at Tottenham will be hoping he can have the same impact in North London and help bring back the good times of Mauricio Pochettino.
But it’s not going to be easy because this isn’t a team that was flying high last season.
From inconsistent players, defensive issues, an ageing squad, the fear that Harry Kane will leave and a lack of investment from the top.
This is a much tougher task for Nuno than the one he had when he first walked in at Molineux.
