Patrice Evra told Sky Sports PL (22/11/20 at 1:05 pm) that the mood of Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho has changed and he is now ‘back to being funny’.
The former left-back pointed out that Mourinho was previously ‘grumpy’ and you could ‘feel his anger’ and he likes the fact that he is back in the game.
In his previous two jobs, at Old Trafford and Stamford Bridge, a lot was made of Mourinho’s character, mood and man-management skills.
But those critics, who felt he was past his sell-by date, will be eating their words because he is rolling back the years once more. And Evra is in that camp.
“But what I like is that Mourinho’s back,” said Evra, “He never left. But I mean his personality.
“Before he was just grumpy, but now he’s back to being funny and I could feel his anger. We don’t know who is going to win the league this year because sometimes you watch the games and they look like training sessions.
“And sometimes there are big games, so it’s going to be really difficult.”

Just over one year after taking the reigns in North London, Mourinho has Spurs sitting top of the table in England’s top-flight.
Spurs fans are hoping that heading into this busy and crucial festive period, they are still sitting top of the tree when they take their own Christmas trees down because it will set the platform for them to do the business during the final few months.
Whilst a number of Spurs players haven’t experienced winning a trophy, Mourinho has, and all of that know-how will come into play when the difficult moments arrive.
