Keegan Bradley has some important choices to make ahead of the Ryder Cup, but there’s one thing completely out of his hands that could turn into a real issue.

One topic already up for debate is whether Bradley should select himself as part of the team.

Top American players will likely support his inclusion in the squad after a strong season, highlighted by his Travelers Championship win in June.

However, Bradley’s form has declined recently, a trend the US team will be monitoring closely.

The calendar will not do him any favours either. With just six weeks until play gets underway at Bethpage Black in New York, there is not much time left for Keegan to sort things out.

Tommy Fleetwood’s form could be a problem for Keegan Bradley

Tommy Fleetwood has been playing some of his best golf this week in Memphis.

He shot a 64 in the second round of the FedEx St. Jude Championship and is looking to secure his first PGA Tour win in what will be his 162nd start.

The Englishman, now 34, is highly regarded for his ability, and many feel it’s only a matter of time before he breaks through with a victory at TPC Southwind.

If he can tidy up the putting side of his game, there is little doubt he will start racking up wins more regularly on Tour.

A win this week would be timely for Fleetwood and could pose problems for Bradley and the US Ryder Cup squad.

The European team already looks strong heading into Bethpage Black, and adding an in-form Fleetwood would only bolster Luke Donald’s options.

Fleetwood has always been one of the game’s steadier performers, and his Ryder Cup record speaks for itself. A victory at St. Jude could make him an even bigger factor next month in New York.

How Tommy Fleetwood has fared in Ryder Cup so far

Fleetwood has been a key figure for Europe over the past seven years.

He has played in three Ryder Cups, with an impressive record overall.

And if he manages to finish the job and win the FedEx St. Jude Championship this week, he will be even more of a problem for Bradley and his team at Bethpage in September.
