Federico Fazio and Alex Pritchard have both left Tottenham this week.
Federico Fazio in action for Tottenham Hotspur
Departing Tottenham defender Federico Fazio has admitted that he’s excited by his move to Italian side Roma, when responding to well-wishes from former team-mate Jan Vertonghen.
Fazio joined Spurs from Sevilla back in 2014, and despite being a first-team player in his first season under Mauricio Pochettino, he was frozen out at White Hart Lane and eventually returned to Sevilla on loan.

Now, the giant Argentine has left Spurs again, this time signing for Italian side Roma on a season-long loan deal with a view to a permanent deal next summer, which should bring an end to his time as a Tottenham player.
Having sealed his move to the Italian capital, Fazio received a message of good luck from his former central defensive partner at Tottenham, Jan Vertonghen, who wished Fazio and another departing ace all the best.
Alex Pritchard during England Under-21’s training
Young playmaker Alex Pritchard has come up through the ranks at Tottenham, but after a series of loan spells and a lack of first-team football at White Hart Lane, he has been sold on to Championship side Norwich City.
A highly-regarded midfielder who showed his quality with Brentford during the 2014-15 season, Pritchard endured a frustrating season last term with injury and a failed loan move to West Brom, and a permanent move appears to be the best step for his career to progress.

As the two players depart, Vertonghen wished both players luck in their moves away from North London, and defender Fazio admitted he’s ‘very excited’ by this move to Roma as he looks to play some regular first-team football away from White Hart Lane this season, whilst Pritchard also wished the defender luck in Italy too.
