West Ham clinched a move for striker Sebastian Haller this week for a club record £45 million.
Haller joined after two successful years with German side Eintracht Frankfurt, where he helped them reach the Europa League semi-final last season.
Prior to that, Haller starred for Dutch side FC Utrecht where he netted 51 goals in 98 games.
Utrecht still think very highly of him and sent a message to West Ham on Twitter, wishing both club and player the best of luck.
Haller’s goal record is impressive, and he has both the physical attributes and technical ability to thrive in the Premier League.
He is a creator as well as a goalscorer, and West Ham’s players should enjoy playing with him as much as their fans like watching him.
The very fact Utrecht feel so strongly about him two years after they sold him, is a good sign for West Ham they have signed a gem.
