FC Midtjylland have congratulated Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers on Twitter for progressing further in the Europa League qualifiers.
Rangers got the better of Midtjylland 3-1 at Ibrox in the second leg of their Europa League Qualifying Third Round on Thursday evening.
Gerrard’s side have progressed to the Europa League playoff tie 7-3 on aggregate and will take on Legia Warsaw.
FC Midtjylland have congratulated Rangers on Twitter for their “deserved victory” and have wished them the best of luck for the next round.
As the results show, Rangers were the better team against FC Midtjylland over two legs and have deservedly gone through to the Europa League playoff round.
The Gers are going strong in the Europa League qualifiers, and the Ibrox faithful will be confident that, just like last season, the team will advance to the group stage.
Rangers have also made a strong start to the Scottish Premiership and are aiming to challenge bitter Old Firm rivals Celtic for the league title this season.
