Tottenham boss has signed two Argentine defenders for the North London side.

After patiently waiting to give Juan Foyth his chance, Mauricio Pochettino looks to have struck gold with the Argentine.
Foyth impressed for Tottenham in their Premier League win over Crystal Palace in which he scored the winner, and then produced a man of the match display for Argentina against Mexico.
He is the second Argentine defender Mauricio Pochettino has signed for Tottenham, and he could not be more different to the first.
One of Pochettino’s first signings in 2014 was Federico Fazio, bringing him in from Sevilla.
Fazio arrived with a good CV, as a Europa League winner and Argentine international.
He was just never suited to the Premier League.
Fazio was slow and cumbersome and easily caught out. He often seemed like a red card walking, and lost the faith of fans and his manager.
To his credit the £8 million signing has rebuilt his career at Roma, where the slower pace of Italian football plays into his traits.

Foyth is totally different in style to Fazio and looks likely to enjoy success.
Fazio is the traditional bruising centre-back, one who relies on his physically imposing frame to out-power opponents and win aerial battles.
Foyth, also signed for around £8 million from Estudiantes, has to rely on his intelligence and his ability to read the game.
So far his sensible positioning and quick thinking has helped him out a lot and this will provide his platform for a successful career.
Spurs will feel they have found a gem. Perhaps Mauricio Pochettino simply has a better understanding now of the type of centre-back who is best suited for English football than he did in 2014.
