Nottingham Forest owner does not appear keen on re-negotiating failed takeover.
Nottingham Forest fans were left stunned to learn the club’s proposed takeover had fallen through on Friday night.
American businessman John Jay Moores had been hoping to buy the club, but owner Fawaz Al Hasawi surprisingly released a statement confirming the deal was off.

With the club in 20th position in the Championship, and without a manager, fans are understandably concerned about their future.
One supporter pleaded with Fawaz Al Hasawi via Twitter to re-enter negotiations with Moores, only for his message to seemingly fall on deaf ears.
Al Hasawi insinuates that there is more to the story than meets the eye, but the problem is at this stage, Forest fans are sick of excuses. Further negotiations seem doubtful at this stage.
The owner has exhausted plenty of good will on behalf of the supporters, and it is doubtful that he has much capital to invest in the club to take them forward, and fears about the club dropping down into League One could become reality.
