Nottingham Forest recently sacked Dougie Freedman, after a poor run of form.
Owner Fawaz Al-Hasawi has insisted to the BBC that he does not know the identity of Nottingham Forest’s new manager.
Forest parted company with Dougie Freedman earlier in the week, after a run of one win in just six matches.
Rumours are rife as to who could take over – with Nigel Clough currently one of the bookies’ favourites to be offered the job – but Al-Hasawi denies that he has already identified Freedman’s replacement.
“No, to be honest I don’t,” he said, when asked whether he knew who he was going to appoint at Forest.
“There’s many managers that we are looking on, but we’re going to decide in the summer.
“At the moment, there’s many list of managers we had and we want to study them. Then we will let you know about who is going to take the job.”
Freedman parted company with Forest after a 3-0 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday, which saw them slip down to 14th in the Championship table.
The Reds have now placed Paul Williams in charge of the first-team until the end of the season, with Andy Reid being promoted to first-team coach.
Williams will take charge of Forest for the first time tonight, when the side travel to the KC Stadium to face high flying Hull City.
If Forest are able to beat the Tigers they could move up to 12th in the Championship standings.
