Faustino Asprilla is undoubtedly a cult legend at Newcastle United. The enigmatic Colombian was part of the entertainers and is a Premier League maverick for the ages.

He was clearly pleased at the performance of his former club – sending out this tweet:

Newcastle certainly appear to be clicking at the moment and Rafa Benitez will be hopeful that this current form can see them carry on toward promotion back to the Premier League.

The Magpies are now unbeaten in five games and will be watching on as Huddersfield face Sheffield Wednesday with great interest tomorrow.
