A player who trialled at Rangers earlier this summer has been offered to another club – wage free – by his dad.
Max Hutchison spent at least a week at Rangers’ Hummel Training Centre, as confirmed by his father, Don, the former Scotland midfielder, on Instagram.
Hutchison was even encouraged to ‘pop in and say hello’ by the Ibrox manager, Steven Gerrard.
What happened next to the former Bishop’s Stortford player remains unclear.
But based on one of his dad’s tweets on Tuesday, it seems almost certain that his career won’t be continuing at Rangers.
