Moussa Sissoko has posted a message on his Instagram story about Tottenham duo Harry Winks and Harry Kane.
The Watford midfield posted an image of himself and Winks at Vicarage Road from the weekend, with the caption ‘father and son’.
Whilst his caption about Kane read, ‘always nice to play against some friend’.
Sissoko left Tottenham in the summer after his contract expired in north London and he joined newly-promoted Watford.
The France international was given a warm reception by the Spurs away fans after the game, as he was also seen embracing the likes of Heung-Min Son and Winks after the match.
Sissoko may not have been able to help Tottenham win a trophy during his time at the club, but he is still a popular figure with the fans and his ex-teammates.
That’s probably the only thing Sissoko could cheer from the weekend because Watford suffered a stoppage-time defeat.
Davinson Sanchez’s glancing header meant that it was another win for Antonio Conte’s men, who are still dreaming of Champions League football.
Whilst Sissoko has gone from playing in Europe to now battling it out near the Premier League’s relegation zone.
But he will no doubt be watching his former club from afar and how they will fare under the trophy-laden Conte.
The Italian is unbeaten in the Premier League so far and only the small matter of four London derby games await Spurs this month.
