Rangers and West Ham United are thought to be in the market for Fashion Sakala – and the Oostende striker has a big decision to make.

Voetbalkrant recently noted that both Rangers and West Ham are in the market for Sakala, whose contract ends this summer.

Sakala, 23, has been in blistering form over in Belgium this season, smashing 13 goals in 23 outings for Oostende in a superb campaign.

The Zambian international previously had a spell in Russia with Spartak Moscow, but has really become a wanted man with Oostende.

Oostende’s executive president Gauthier Ganaye has told the club’s official website that four offers have been made to extend Sakala’s deal, but his agent isn’t even responding.

That would give Rangers and West Ham real hope of swooping in to sign Sakala for absolutely nothing this summer – but there could yet be a twist.

The speedy striker has told Sport/Foot Magazine in Belgium that talks are ongoing over an extension, and the negotiations are ‘going well’.

That’s quite the opposite of Ganaye’s comments, so Rangers and West Ham need to keep tabs on very twist and turn in this saga if they’re intent on signing Sakala for free this summer.
