Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic have been linked with Manchester City-owned Norwich City goalkeeper Angus Gunn in the summer transfer window.

Farke made the comments following Gunn’s performance during Norwich’s 4-1 defeat to Queens Park Rangers away from home at Loftus Road in the Championship on Monday afternoon.
The 22-year-old, who joined the Canaries on loan from Premier League club City in the summer of 2017 and earns a base salary of £208,000 per year according to Spotrac.com, made a mistake during the match that resulted in a goal, with QPR eventually going on to win 4-1.
Norwich manager Farke has praised Gunn – who is wanted by Celtic in the summer transfer window according to The Scottish Sun – for his performances so far this season despite his mistake.

Farke told Eastern Daily Press about Gunn: “It was obviously a mistake from Angus. Everyone can see that. Although he is nearly two metres tall and can then use his arms he lost that duel in the air against the striker.”
“He played this season nearly with no mistakes,” added Farke. “He is a young player and sometimes you have to accept they have a poor day but he has been outstanding for us this season.”

Learning curve
Gunn is only 22 years of age, and the youngster is bound to make mistakes from time to time.
What is important is that the City-owned goalkeeper recovers from his mistake and bounces back in style.
The England Under-21 international is a very talented and promising young goalkeeper who would be a good signing for Celtic in the summer transfer window.
