Everton are currently in seventh place in the Premier League table.

Farhad Moshiri admits that the atmosphere at Everton has exceeded expectations since he took charge at the Merseyside club.

Moshiri has now been the majority shareholder at Everton for over half a season, and he has been pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere at Goodison Park.

Everton have not always picked up positive results so far this season, but they have been backed well by their supporters.

Goodison Park can be one of the most atmospheric grounds in England, and that was on full display when Everton took on Arsenal earlier in the season.

The Toffees beat Arsene Wenger’s side 2-1, and they were loudly backed by their own supporters.

Things have not gone entirely to plan for Moshiri so far, though. When he took over, the businessman suggested that he wanted to guide Everton into the top four.

However, as things stand, the Toffees are some way back from the Champions League qualification spots – and they currently sit in seventh place in the Premier League table.
