Everton lost 1-0 at home to Burnley on Sunday afternoon.
Everton’s Farhad Moshiri has told Sky Sports that he will back manager Ronald Koeman, even after Sunday’s 1-0 home defeat to Burnley.
The Toffees went into the game having struggled in September, having lost 3-0 to Tottenham, 3-0 to Atalanta and 4-0 to Manchester United before beating Bournemouth 2-1 and drawing 2-2 with Apollon Limassol.
A poor start to the season after so much summer spending has piled the pressure on manager Koeman, and his October got off to a dismal start with a 1-0 home defeat at the hands of Burnley on Sunday afternoon.

Jeff Hendrick’s first half goal proved to be the winner for Burnley, meaning Everton have won just twice in the first seven games of the Premier League season.
With seven points from seven games, this isn’t what Everton fans expected after splashing the cash over the summer, bringing in the likes of Jordan Pickford, Michael Keane, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Wayne Rooney.
Now, Koeman faces huge questions about his future, and major shareholder Farhad Moshiri has now been asked for his take on the situation.
Moshiri told Sky Sports that he acknowledges Everton are ‘in a bad moment’ after losing to Burnley, but Koeman has his full support as fans call for his sacking.
“We’re in a bad moment – but these are early days and Koeman has my total support,” said Moshiri.
Moshiri arrived at Goodison Park from Arsenal, where Arsene Wenger has been backed in the face of pressure for many, many years, and the Everton man may want to give the same backing to Koeman as he attempts to ride out a torrid spell.
