Everton fans have taken to Twitter to react after Moise Kean spoke about his future, following PSG’s Champions League win over Bayern Munich.

As tweeted by Fabrizio Romano, the 21-year-old said: “I did not play so much at Everton, and I needed this experience at PSG. Here’s Pochettino who believes in me. My future? I don’t know what will happen after the Everton loan, we’ll see.”

Now, it really doesn’t sound as if he’s sure about staying at Everton.

Kean’s comments on Mauricio Pochettino trusting him seem significant, as if trust wasn’t something he was afforded at Goodison Park.

You can’t really blame him if he did mean that.

He made just six Premier League starts last season, and was also subbed off by Duncan Ferguson at Old Trafford just 18 minutes after being subbed on.

Since moving to Paris, the 8-cap Italy international has shone with 18 goals in 37 games.

A few Everton fans also think he doesn’t sound keen on staying at Goodison Park after hearing his comments.

At the end of the day, it’s something of a win-win for Everton.

They either keep a very exciting forward with bundles of potential, who would be working under a fellow Italian.

Or, they will – presumably – receive a fairly large fee for the wonderkid, who hasn’t looked out of place alongside Neymar and Kylian Mbappe this season.

Let’s see what the Everton fans have been saying about his comments…
